Foreplay Kraken v. Canadian
The Canadian will look to capitalize on the Seattle Kraken’s visit to the Bell Center Monday night to sign two straight wins for the first time since Nov. 23-25, when the CH held the upper hand over the Blackhawks .
Canada’s morale has certainly improved since Saturday night’s 5-4 win over the Blues, which allowed Martin St-Louis’ men to end a seven-game losing streak.
If Cole Caufield continues to produce with four goals in the last four games, CH can finally count on a much-noticed offensive performance from their veterans Josh Anderson (1 goal), Joel Armia (2 goals), Evgenii Dadonov (2 assists) and Jake Evans (2nd goal). assists) in the last game against St. Louis.
The task won’t be easy on Monday, however, as the Kraken are fifth in the West this season with a 22-12-4 record in 38 games. Seattle has won its last four games by an average of 5.5 goals per game.
The Kraken are particularly dominant away from home and have won 12-4-2 in 18 games so far this season.
Montreal overcame Seattle 4-2 in the first game of the season on December 6th. Caufield, Anderson, Johnathan Kovacevic and Rem Pitlick had hit the mark.
