The group stage has come to an end in what has been a ferocious World Cup that has left us with goals left, right and centre. 15 braces have been scored, but the latest saw Kylian Mbappé propel France to the last eight of the tournament with a 3-1 win over Poland. That brace put Mbappé in the driver’s seat for the Golden Boot of the World Cup
The clean sheet leaderboard is hard to separate, while Harry Kane has regained his spot at the top of the assist leaderboard with three. Nayef Aguerd also has the dubious record of scoring the first own goal of this World Cup, but was soon joined by Manuel Neuer as Germany fell in the group stage despite a 4-2 defeat to Costa Rica.
Throughout the tournament, we’ll be tracking some of Qatar’s most notable stats, including the race for the Golden Boot and leaders for assists and clean sheets.
